Designed specifically with the movement of gaited horses in mind, the Alabama TrailFlex Gaited Saddle combines a flexible tree system, compact rounded skirts, shock-absorbing construction, and a comfortable rider-focused seat.

The saddle is built around a Flex2 gaited tree, combining a stable ground seat with a dual-bar structure that provides flexibility where it is needed. This design is intended to accommodate the distinctive movement of gaited horses while maintaining a secure saddle platform.

Its short rounded NeoShock skirts create a compact footprint that helps minimize interference with the horse's natural gait. The skirt construction also incorporates shock-absorbing material to help soften vibration from uneven trail surfaces. 

For rider comfort, the saddle features an impact-foam seat designed to cushion the rider during extended rides. The cushioning is intended to absorb some of the shock created during movement, making the saddle particularly suitable for longer trail sessions.

The Softee leather seat jockeys and fenders are designed to provide a broken-in feel with less initial stiffness. This makes the saddle comfortable to use without the prolonged break-in period often associated with new leather tack.

A three-position adjustable in-skirt rigging system allows the rider to select a suitable girthing position based on the horse's individual conformation. This flexibility can be useful when fitting the saddle to different gaited horse body types.

The ErgoBalance stirrups are angled to encourage a more natural foot position, helping promote balanced riding and potentially reducing unwanted strain around the rider's knees and ankles.

The saddle is finished with Herman Oak leather, spider-border tooling, silver accents, and a grainout seat, creating a traditional Western appearance while keeping the primary focus on comfortable gaited-horse trail riding.
